Ascension’s Home Delivery Pharmacy Services in Austin, TX is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support both call center and production workflows. You will enter prescriptions accurately and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

You’ll engage with patients by phone to provide updates and clarify details, while processing and shipping medication orders per established procedures. This role emphasizes high accuracy, state/local qualifications, and opportunities for growth with

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the PTCB is preferred and required where applicable by state/local licensure.
• National Healthcare Association credential is preferred and must meet state/local qualifications.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST | Full-time

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Flex between Call Center and Production teams based on daily operational needs.
• Enter and process new prescriptions with a high level of accuracy while adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with patients by phone to provide updates, obtain missing information, clarify prescription details, and ensure excellent customer service.
• Process and fill medication orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established workflows.
• Package and ship medication orders based on carrier requirements, delivery timelines, and internal procedures.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• TX Registered Pharmacy Technician Registration is required for this role.
• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician Experience is preferred.
• Home Delivery experience is preferred.
