Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• For technicians with validating responsibilities in NC, an Associate’s Degree in Pharmacy Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work according to standard processes and procedures.
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the specialized area.
• Solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise.
• Ensures documents and records are accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
• Supports communication with patients and care team.
• Participates in site or system specialized work teams, committees, and councils, as applicable.
• Maintains compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
