Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Transitions of Care Services in Acute Care. The role focuses on medication history, patient communication, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations.

The position requires 1-3 years of related experience, Pharmacy Technician licensure (CPhT or ExCPT), and a willingness to work primarily second shift (1 pm - 9:30 pm) with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state licensure as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or ExCPT preferred.
• 1-3 years of healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work following standard processes and policies.
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
