Job summary

Advocate Health's Enterprise Pharmacy - Transitions of Care Services in Wisconsin (Kohler) is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support PTO coverage and weekend shifts. The role involves accurate medication handling, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Ideal candidates will have state licensure, CPhT or ExCPT certification, and a strong foundation in medical terminology, customer service, and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Registration/Licensure with state board of pharmacy as required by state of employment
• Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or ExCPT
• High school diploma or GED; in NC, Associate’s Degree required for technician responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the area
• Solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise
• Maintains accurate documents and records in a timely fashion
• Supports communication with patients and the care team
• Identifies quality improvements to enhance safety and efficiency
