Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health seeks a Part-time Pharmacy Technician to obtain medication histories at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Requires state licensure and a CPhT or ExCPT certification, plus a high school diploma.

Shifts include 6:30 am–3:00 pm and 1:00 pm–9:30 pm, every other weekend. Pay range $24.10–$36.15 per hour. Responsibilities focus on accuracy, timely documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Registration/licensure with state board of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or NHA ExCPT.
• High school diploma or GED; NC locations may require additional education.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
• Solves technical issues and ensures timely, accurate documentation.
• Coordinates communication with patients and care team.
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Supports operational changes and site/system standardization.
• Participates in teams and committees as applicable.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
