You will help build a service-focused pharmacy team and develop strong relationships with patients while meeting regulatory requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and eligibility to obtain registration as a pharmacy technician with the state board.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with compassion at all pharmacy entry points.
• Model patient care by respectful engagement and addressing needs, including processing orders in person and by phone.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive-thru, phone, filling and order receiving, including profile searches and inventory checks.
• Complete required training programs and accompanying exams.
• Follow all company, state and federal policies, including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales according to established POS procedures.
• Transcribe prescriptions accurately for custom labels.
• Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and supplies.
• Answer telephone politely and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns with management and staff.
