Qualifications

• High school diploma AND five years pharmacy training/leadership experience required.
• Must be nationally certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board within 15 months of hire.
• Must be registered with the WV Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician trainee on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, coordinates and monitors the workflow of Pharmacy Technicians to provide efficient drug distribution.
• Oversees the education and training of pharmacy technicians.
• Interviews and hires applicants for technician positions in the department.
• Completes personnel management duties for assigned staff.
• Maintains technician competency assessments and regulatory certifications.
