Job summary

The University of New Mexico SHAC clinic is seeking an on-call Pharmacy Tech to support daily operations in the campus pharmacy, handling dispensing support and direct customer service. The role may involve after-hours coverage on an on-call basis.

Responsibilities include assisting in dispensing, processing routine non-prescription orders, and coordinating billing, cash handling, and inventory management to ensure accurate, compliant pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
• Must maintain certification status.
• Flu vaccination requirement for employees in patient care or clinical areas.
• Completed degrees above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.

TheUniversity of New Mexico Student Health & Counseling clinic (SHAC) isrecruiting for a knowledgeable, detail-orientedON-CALL Pharmacy Tech to work in the SHAC Pharmacy.

TheStudent Health & Counseling Center is located at the center of campus. The clinicprovides comprehensive primary and mental health services and has a laboratory,x-ray, pharmacy, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, case management, andhealth promotions on site. Other medical services provided are same dayappointments, travel medicine, immunizations, and sports medicine.
