Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. You will coach technicians, handle cash, and help with store opening/closing, inventory, pricing and customer service to deliver a delightful experience.

This role requires fluent English, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and prior retail experience is preferred.

• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Engage customers and patients, greet them, offer assistance, resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Develops strong relationships with valuable customers.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy practice per policy and Code of Conduct.
• Open/close store when needed, manage cash handling and ensure floor and stockroom readiness.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and price changes, signage and local compliance.
• Process cash, refunds, and basic bookkeeping tasks as requested.
• Support Pharmacy Department on inventory management and Rx processing; enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy and interactions.
• Assist with scheduling workflow and report prescription errors to pharmacist.
