• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECH-R) required; PTCB certification preferred.

• Admixture preparation of medications for IV solutions and critical care areas.
• Preparation of unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications; compounding as needed.
• Maintain adequate stock levels in assigned areas and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Tech IV, Variable, Piedmont Northside Columbus
Responsible for the admixtures of medications to IV solutions. Preparation of unit dose syringes, chemotherapy medications, and compounding of solutions/medications used in the critical care and OR satellite areas. Maintaining adequate stock levels in assigned areas. Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.
