Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Pharmacy Tech IV for PRN/part-time coverage at Piedmont Columbus Northside. The role involves preparing IV admixtures, unit dose syringes, and chemotherapy medications, and supporting critical care/OR satellite areas.

You will maintain stock levels, follow approved procedures, and collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure safe and compliant operations. Prior IV admixture experience and active state registration are preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician upon hire required.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Admixtures of medications to IV solutions.
• Preparation of unit dose syringes, chemotherapy medications.
• Compounding of solutions/medications used in critical care and OR satellite areas.
• Maintaining adequate stock levels in assigned areas.
• Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
