Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Pharmacy Tech IV PRN in Columbus, GA. You will prepare IV admixtures, unit-dose syringes, and chemotherapy medications for critical care and OR satellite areas. You will ensure stock levels and follow procedures for safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include collaborating with pharmacy staff to define rules and best practices and performing duties as a Pharmacy Technician as needed. PRN role with flexible scheduling.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician; PHRMTECH-R preferred

Mansioni

Responsibilities

Pharmacy Tech IV, PRN, Piedmont Columbus Northside

Responsible for the admixtures of medications to IV solutions. Preparation of unit dose syringes, chemotherapy medications, and compounding of solutions/medications used in the critical care and OR satellite areas. Maintaining adequate stock levels in assigned areas. Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
