Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA seeks a Pharmacy Technician IV (IV admixtures) to support critical care and OR satellite areas. Duties include preparing unit dose syringes, chemotherapy meds, and compounding solutions while ensuring stock levels and adherence to procedures.

Requires HS diploma or GED; IV admixtures experience preferred; PHRMTECH-R and PTCB certification preferred. PRN, variable schedule with state regulatory compliance responsibilities.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• PHRMTECH-R license current with state Board of Pharmacy; PTCB certification preferred.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
