Technology Consulting Inc. in Leesport, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site contract-to-hire role. You will work under a Registered Pharmacist, fill prescriptions, prepare IVs, and support data entry for billing and reimbursement.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, state-certified pharmacy technician license if required, strong communication, organization, and basic computer skills. Shift is Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs.
• Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and obtain reimbursement payment.
• Assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations.
• Assist in final checking of filled prescriptions and packaging after RPh review and coordinating delivery to the customer.
• Maintain good inventory practices including receiving and rotating medications, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting in physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, check equipment calibration, safety and cleanliness.

TCI has an immediate need for aPharmacy Technician in Leesport, PA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Note: This position requires US Citizenship and work is performed on-site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs.
• Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment.
• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations.
• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.

• Shift requirements: M-F 1st Shift 9am-5:30pm.
