The role involves accurate prescription filling, sterile compounding, data entry for reimbursement, inventory management, and preparing medications for review in a compliant, efficient, and patient-focused environment.

This contract-to-hire position offers daytime hours, with potential for direct hire.

Qualificações

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• Experience in long-term care or mail order pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data and facilitate reimbursement processes.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription verification, including preparing medications for review and packaging after approval.
• Support pharmacy inventory management by receiving supplies, tracking lot numbers, and ensuring stock rotation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment calibration and safety under Technician Supervisor guidance.

This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care and mail order pharmacy operations in Leesport, PA. The role involves working closely under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions, prepare IV medications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement for approximately 26 weeks, with standard daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare sterile compounded IV medications following established protocols.
