Job summary

Technology Consulting Inc (TCI) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Horsham, PA for an on-site, contract-to-hire role. You will support a Registered Pharmacist with fills, IV prep, and data entry for reimbursements.

Responsibilities include assisting in prepackaging, final checks, inventory management, and maintaining a clean work environment while complying with government regulations. Evening shift is required with shift differential offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in warehousing or distribution inventory management.
• Certified pharmacy technician licenses, if required by individual State Board of Pharmacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
• Shift requirements: 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Shift diff offered.

Job description

TCI has an immediate need for a Pharmacy Technician in Horsham, PA.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Note: This position requires US Citizenship and work is performed on-site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs.
• Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment.
• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations.
• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
