Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Pharmacist. You will assist with prescription fulfillment, IV preparation workflow, and accurate data entry to support processing and reimbursement.

This contract assignment offers full-time hours (40+ per week) with potential to hire permanently based on attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a PA pharmacy technician license.
• Past pharmacy tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and assist with IV prep under Pharmacist supervision.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems for processing and reimbursement.
• Pre-package and label medications per standards and regulations.
• Assist with staging/packaging for Pharmacist review and timely delivery.
• Support inventory tasks: receiving, rotation, lot/expiration tracking.

DETAILS AND COMPENSATION

Location: Leesport, PA – 100% on-site Payrate: $25/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS

The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Pharmacist by assisting with prescription fulfillment and IV preparation workflow. This role helps ensure accurate data entry for prescription processing, supports inventory tasks (receiving/rotation/lot and expiration tracking), and maintains a clean and safe work environment. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fill prescriptions and support IV preparation workflow under Pharmacist supervision
• Enter prescription-related data into pharmacy systems to support processing and reimbursement
• Pre-package and label medications according to standards and applicable regulations
• Assist with staging/packaging prescriptions for Pharmacist final review and help coordinate accurate, timely delivery
• Support inventory best practices (receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers/expiration dates, assisting in physical inventory)
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, including routine equipment checks for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Must have a current pharmacy tech license in the state of PA
• Must have previous pharmacy tech experience
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with computer/data entry tasks
• Ability to work on-site in a regulated pharmacy environment
