Job summary

Independent Health seeks a Systems and Integration Manager to oversee the pharmacy management system, third party integrations, and related platforms. You will coordinate IT, billing, and operations to ensure compliant, efficient claim processing and patient service.

Responsibilities include system configuration, workflow automation, EDI/835 implementations, and vendor coordination, with a hybrid Williamsville, NY work arrangement and focus on high ROI improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4 years of additional experience may substitute for the degree.
• Five years of experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare IT, or with pharmacy management systems.
• Experience configuring or administering pharmacy software strongly preferred.
• Experience with EDI transactions and 835 files preferred.
• Understanding of pharmacy claims, billing, reimbursement, and payor processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business owner and SME for the pharmacy management system.
• Maintain configuration, workflows, rules, and user functionality.
• Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and issue resolution with vendors.
• Manage EDI transactions and 837/835 claim workflows with payers and partners.
• Develop testing plans and coordinate UAT and post-implementation monitoring.
• Ensure security, access controls, and regulatory compliance across the system.
