Job summary

Elevance Health's CarelonRx division seeks a Sales Strategy Specialist to support ASO pharmacy growth across Ohio, Indiana and Virginia. The role collaborates with Sales and the CarelonRx unit to shape new business opportunities and strategic plans.

The position entails hybrid in-office/remote work, with expectations of 1–2 days on site in Indianapolis. A BA/BS and at least 2 years in pharmacy pricing/ proposals are required, with CRM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years in a pharmacy proposal or pharmacy pricing environment.
• Experience with pharmacy benefit sales and CRM platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the new sales and business development process for CarelonRx within local markets (OH, IN, VA).
• Assists in pre-bid strategy planning, RFP responses, and post-sales support for sales initiatives.
• Monitors market conditions and comparative strategies to inform business plans.
• Maintains data quality for Sales and Account Management in CRM systems.
