Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Pharmacy Support Coordinator to interpret and review moderately complex prescriptions and health management data. The hybrid role requires in-office presence 1–2 days per week and offers collaboration with providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include educating providers, processing data requests, and generating reports while supporting quality improvement across provider organizations.

Qualifications

• Requires an active pharmacy license or certification where required by state law.
• Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify member information and clinical data to identify opportunities for pharmacist improvement.
• Educate providers on pharmacy rules related to prescriptions and medication resources.
• Process data requests from physicians and ensure Medicare & Commercial compliance; inform about quality opportunities.
• Conduct outreach to provider offices to close quality gaps in care.
• Provide resolution to grievances from provider groups.
• Respond to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and internal partners about formulary and benefits.
• Generate reports on physician utilization and clinical criteria.
• Maintain record keeping of presentations and monthly reports.
• Support overall performance improvement within provider organizations.
