Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist for our Pharmacy department in a retail setting. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, support the pharmacy team, and participate in wellness programs and community outreach.

Licensed pharmacist, OBRA '90 compliance, immunizations as certified, and ability to manage inventory and lead when the Pharmacy Manager is away. This is an hourly role with a focus on customer service and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing and active license
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
• Immunizations certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making interactions positive
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with regulations
• Assist with inventory control and ordering of items
• Support pharmacy team and participate in continued education and training
• Visit schools, doctors' offices, and community centers to promote pharmacy services
• Build growth through counseling and wellness programs
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA
• Adhere to Hy-Vee policies and regulations
