Walgreens Co. seeks a Pharmacy Manager to provide empathetic pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and clinical services. You will ensure safe dispensing, regulatory compliance, and efficient pharmacy workflows to improve patient outcomes.

You will lead staff performance, manage inventory and finances, and collaborate with store leadership to expand patient services and community health initiatives, including immunizations and disease state management.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.

Responsabilités

• Counsels patients on usage, interactions, side effects, generics, and OTC products.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications in accordance with regulations.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in compliance with policies and regulates workflow, staffing and opening/closing procedures.
• Supports insurance claims processing and third-party audits.
• Manages clinical and wellness services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems, inventory management, and point-of-sale operations.
