Job summary

Walgreens Co. seeks a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to handle day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities while ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation, and you will lead training and performance management of technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including registration, data entry, medication preparation, and verifications where allowed by law.
• Support vaccine administration and health screenings where permitted.
• Lead scheduling, training, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliant, efficient workflow and accurate records under company policies and regulations.
• Drive process improvements and maintain security and asset protection in the pharmacy.
