Tops Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee all operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance in a store setting.

The role requires a licensed pharmacist, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage staff, processes, and customer privacy. It includes supervision, ordering, and interaction with patients to ensure accurate prescriptions and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• State Licensed Pharmacist.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Pharmacy operations, safety, and sanitation.
• All staff Pharmacist responsibilities.
• Ensure proper rotation of medications on a monthly basis while following proper procedure for discarded and recalled medications.
• Enforce customer privacy policies while keeping all customer information up to date and accurate.
• Achieve financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense.
• Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of prescriptions.
• Select, train, develop and schedule all pharmacy associates.
• Communicate regularly with all pharmacy associates to keep them up to date with relevant information.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and billing relating to Pharmacy Department.
• Maintain security of all controlled substances.
• Maintain adequate supplies, place orders when needed.
• Process orders to include filling prescriptions and accepting payment.
• Minimize shrink through proper handling and storing of product.
