Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations in Pen Argyl, PA. You will supervise technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive patient care through immunization programs and MTM services.

You will collaborate with physicians, counsel patients, and contribute to inventory control while upholding quality standards and customer service excellence. This role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and immunization certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• PharmD is preferred; pharmacy immunization certification required.
• Ability to supervise technicians and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and QA.
• Promote clinical programs including immunization and MTM.
• Align objectives with department metrics and manage inventory to meet demand.
• Provide healthcare counseling and strong customer service.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and train staff.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and assume management in their absence.
• Maintain security and comply with laws.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve issues.
• Oversee training and development to reduce turnover.
• Prioritize department tasks and manage cycle counts and will-calls.
