Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, non-clinical Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day operations under a pharmacist’s supervision.

You will handle patient information, data entry, and non-clinical tasks to ensure smooth workflow and a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include assisting with vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed, managing inventory, and leading technician training and performance management.

Qualifications

• Must have fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation and verification of medications.
• Coordinate and supervise non-clinical pharmacy tasks; ensure on-time completion and compliance with policies.
• Prepare and file reports and records for company and government agencies.
• Drive efficient pharmacy operations and revenue improvement initiatives.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management for pharmacy technicians.
