Job summary

Walgreens in Vail, AZ is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in day-to-day non-clinical operations, ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform prescription data entry, medication preparation, and assist with vaccines and health services where allowed. You will also help with training and performance of technicians and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Handle patient calls and insurance questions.
• Support vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and quality standards.
