Job summary

Walgreens in Colorado seeks a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure an efficient workflow, processing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision to deliver a positive patient experience.

You will assist with patient registration, data entry, and medication preparation, while participating in health services such as vaccines where allowed by law, and helping manage inventory and staff training under the Pharmacy Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting, and verification.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist with vaccines, health screenings, and other services allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to pharmacy staff in line with company policies and laws.
