Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation while managing workflow and supporting vaccines and health services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications and verify accuracy under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Administer vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks and manage daily pharmacy workflow for efficient operations.
• Prepare reports and records for company and government agencies as directed by management.
• Support inventory management and secure storage of pharmacy supplies.
