Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management of technicians.
• Engage customers to ensure a positive patient experience and resolve inquiries.
• Support patient care activities including registration, data entry, and medication preparation.
• Coordinate pharmacy workflow and inventory management to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate prescription errors and ensure compliance with Good Faith Dispensing policies.
• Support immunization clinics, vaccines, and community outreach activities as allowed by law.
