Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD; immunization certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential duties of the Assistant Pharmacy Manager and support divisional, corporate and promotional initiatives.
• Administer immunizations to customers following standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense or compound medications to customers per prescriptions, abiding by laws and ethics standards.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients; verify technicians’ work.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff; address complaints and solve problems.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance and ensure safety and accuracy in patient needs.
• Assist with coverage needs and travel locations as needed; ensure compliance with regs.
