Harris Teeter, LLC. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time pharmacist to manage the pharmacy operations, provide world-class patient care, and supervise pharmacy staff. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with state and federal regulations, and deliver immunizations.

The role emphasizes reducing costs, maximizing profits, maintaining records, and training associates while upholding HIPAA and company standards to create a safe, welcoming, and efficient pharmacy environment for customers.

Formación

• Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s) of the region, as necessary
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited organization
• Effective and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsabilidades

• Perform all functions of the pharmacy manager, including supporting promotions and operations
• Respond to pharmacy needs for relief coverage and travel locations as needed
• Administer immunizations to customers following standing orders and procedures
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients
• Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns for accuracy
• Evaluate medications for potential interactions and ensure safe patient care
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all federal and state laws
• Maximize gross profit and minimize operating expenses

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
