Job summary

Harris Teeter, LLC. is seeking a Full Time Assistant Pharmacy Manager for Store 386. In this role you will support pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering outstanding patient-centered service. The position emphasizes immunizations, staffing, and cost control to maximize safety and efficiency in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist the Pharmacy Manager and engage with customers to enhance trust and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state(s) of practice
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD; immunization and CPR certifications preferred
• Strong communication, math and problem-solving skills; valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Support staff pharmacists and promotions, including special projects
• Assist the pharmacy manager with supervision, training and scheduling
• Administer immunizations following standing orders and procedures
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and proper formulas
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws, HIPAA and security of controlled substances
• Maximize gross profit and minimize operating expenses
• Maintain records, inventory, and reporting for pharmacy functions
