Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide world-class customer service and oversee pharmacy operations in a store setting. This role requires immunization and CPR certification, and the ability to administer vaccines while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

The pharmacist will dispense medications, review prescriptions for accuracy, supervise technicians, and participate in cost-control measures to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required

Responsibilities

• Work as a pharmacist in a store covering available shifts
• Administer immunizations to customers following standing orders
• Dispense or compound medications per prescriptions and laws
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine formulas
• Verify work of technicians and interns for accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of customer records and information
• Maximize gross profit and minimize operating expenses
