Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from a US accredited school.
• 2+ years related retail experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training.
• Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills.
• License must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and lead the pharmacy team to reduce customer wait times.
• Develop, implement, supervise and promote the store's sales plan and initiatives from the division pharmacy department.
• Fulfill duties of a registered pharmacist and comply with legal and company requirements.
• Direct the pharmacy team to optimize labor, inventory and ordering procedures.
• Ensure compliance with controlled substance procedures.
• Monitor third-party reimbursements and manage rejections and audits.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs while maintaining service levels.
• Maintain pharmacy records in line with state and federal laws and policies.
• Lead detailing visits to physicians and community targets to drive growth.
• Promote and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
• Coach and evaluate direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
