Qualifications

• Pharm.D. from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Participation in company-sponsored clinical programs.
• Ability to pursue ongoing education.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Active license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice within state and federal laws and corporate policies.
• Manage and maximize financial performance by monitoring the budget and reducing unauthorized overtime.
• Provide customer service excellence and oversee price and generic utilization.
• Control inventory and oversee staff training and development.
• Lead the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Direct detailing to local physicians and community targets.
• Promote and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management services.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
• Supervise and coach staff; conduct performance reviews and feedback.
