Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in certain locations).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in the delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification (where allowed by law).
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist with healthcare services including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians and manage non-clinical tasks.
