Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under the supervision of a pharmacist. The role focuses on efficient workflow, accurate data entry, prescription processing, customer interactions, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

You will assist with training, performance management, and scheduling of pharmacy technicians, and participate in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required.
• One year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications for patients, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Complete patient and physician calls under the supervision of a pharmacist and assist with healthcare services where allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy while complying with company policies and laws.
• Prepare and file reports and records required by the company and government agencies.
• Manage daily pharmacy workflow and inventory; ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and stock.
• Maintain recordkeeping and security safeguards in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager.
