Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support daily non-clinical operations and patient care under a pharmacist’s supervision. Responsibilities include data entry, medication preparation, and claims processing while maintaining a positive patient experience.

You will lead technician training, support inventory and scheduling, and help expand healthcare services in a retail setting. English fluency and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in the delivery of patient care including patient registration and data entry.
• Counts and verifies medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Performs non-clinical duties and supports vaccination and health services when allowed by law.
• Leads training and performance management of technicians.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and customer service excellence.
