Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks while ensuring a smooth workflow and positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle prescription data entry, patient registration, medication preparation, and coordination of pharmacy services.

You will lead technician training, performance management, and schedule development, with responsibility for compliance, inventory, and reporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Pharmacy technician training preferred.
• PTCB certification required (where applicable).
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under supervision.
• Support pharmacist in patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and prescription processing.
• Deliver patient care activities such as vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Manage inventory, records, and compliance with company policies and laws.
