Job summary

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Leader to oversee clinical operations of FHP Retail and Clinic-based Pharmacy Services. You will ensure policy adherence, develop and monitor clinical pharmacy services, and collaborate with the integrated healthcare team to support patient care.

The role manages staff and budgets, drives quality improvement, and serves as a key liaison across departments.

Qualifications

• Requires current pharmacy licensure in the state of practice, Alaska, within 90 days of hire.
• Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in pharmaceutical operations, distribution, and/or contracting.
• At least 1 year of staff management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and work direction to the pharmacy staff.
• Manages people resources by recruiting, selecting, hiring, orienting, and training qualified candidates.
• Oversees drug therapy management process and ensures cost-effective drug therapy within budgetary constraints.
• Serves as a primary preceptor for pharmacy clerkship students and pharmacy interns.
• Collaborates with medical staff and other departments to ensure quality patient care and medication safety.
