Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a pharmacy leader to assist the Pharmacy Manager/Director in directing pharmacy services. The role includes supervising daily operations, coordinating patient care with clinicians, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the department.

Applicants should have a PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree, be licensed in PA or NY, and possess 3 years of pharmacy leadership experience or completed an administrative residency. Master-level coursework is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD; licensure in PA or NY within 120 days.
• 3 years of pharmacy experience required or completion of a 2-year administrative residency.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Business or Healthcare Management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day pharmacy services, drug distribution, and education.
• Coordinate patient care services with nurses and physicians.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor performance metrics.
• Assist with budgeting, staffing, and scheduling to meet workload.
• Maintain audits on controlled drugs and uphold safety standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
