Foundation Health is seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead clinical operations for FHP Retail and Clinic-based Pharmacy Services in Fairbanks, Alaska. The role focuses on developing and monitoring clinical services, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients.

You will manage staff, budget, and process improvements, while promoting inter-disciplinary collaboration and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and Alaska licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in pharma operations.
• At least 1 year of staff management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff and maintain a supportive work environment.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train, and evaluate staff; ensure competency and documentation.
• Oversee drug therapy management to ensure cost-effective therapy within budget.
• Coordinate education for pharmacists, technicians, and medical staff; act as a preceptor for students.
• Ensure quality improvement, patient safety, and liaison with other departments for system functionality.
