TuftsMedicine is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Specialist for the Specialty Pharmacy Medication Access Team. The role collaborates with health practitioners to ensure optimal medication access, coordinates procurement, storage, preparation, and distribution, and leads departmental systems for better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, serving as preceptor for residents and students, reviewing policies, conducting drug use evaluations, and providing education to staff.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Pharmacist License required.
• Three (3) years of related experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises personnel in a service area during a scheduled shift.
• Ensures that all work assignments are completed in the service area by the end of a shift.
• Serves as primary preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, cooperative education students, PharmD Residents, and pharmacy interns.
• Coordinates review of policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
• Initiates and facilitates completion of drug use evaluations.
• Provides continuing education for hospital professional staff.
• Presents evidence-based reviews to committees for formulary decisions.
