Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical operations under pharmacist supervision. You will assist with patient registration, prescriptions processing, and ensure accurate data entry while upholding company policies and ethical standards.

You will lead technician training, scheduling, and performance management, and help drive efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient registration, prescription data entry, and accuracy checks.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and positive patient experience.
• Manage technician hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and Good Faith Dispensing standards.
