Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle data entry, medication preparation, and basic clinical support such as vaccines where allowed by law.

You will lead technician training, scheduling, and performance management, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate records while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required.
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification.
• Under pharmacist supervision, conduct patient and physician calls and support health services and vaccines where allowed by law.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and inventory management.
• Coordinate workflow, training, and performance management of technicians; maintain records and reports.
