Job summary

Kroger’s on-site Pharmacy located at 6441 Center Dr, Zionsville, IN 46077 is seeking a pharmacist leader to manage all aspects of practice and financial performance within policy and law. You will lead the pharmacy team, ensure compliance, and drive patient care excellence.

The role emphasizes sales optimization, clinical program participation, and staff development, with opportunities for growth within Kroger’s extensive health and wellness division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training.
• Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• License must be in good standing.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model pharmacy team.
• Develop and promote the sales plan and initiatives developed by the division pharmacy.
• Perform all duties required of a registered pharmacist and comply with laws and company requirements.
• Direct the team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Direct pharmacy to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Monitor third-party profitability; handle third-party problems, rejections, and audits.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs.
• Maintain all required pharmacy records.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
• Supervise and coach staff; provide performance feedback.
• Promote, implement, and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management.
