Job summary

Kroger Health & Wellness in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a staff pharmacist to manage all aspects of the pharmacy practice on-site. You will lead the pharmacy team, control budgets, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies.

You will drive patient service excellence, implement clinical services, and collaborate with physicians to promote health initiatives. A Pharm.D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited US school.
• 2+ years of related retail pharmacy experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Participation in clinical programs under company training.
• Ability and willingness to continue education as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills.
• License must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model leadership for the team.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and promote sales plans and initiatives.
• Perform duties of a registered pharmacist per state laws and company requirements.
• Direct the team to meet budgeted labor, volume, and inventory goals.
• Comply with corporate controlled substance procedures.
• Monitor third-party profitability and resolve related issues.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs.
• Maintain required pharmacy records per laws and policies.
• Lead detailing visits to physicians and community targets.
• Promote and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management.
