Walgreens is seeking a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and daily workflow under pharmacist supervision. You will register patients, enter prescriptions, prepare medications, and assist with health services like vaccines and screenings.

Role involves supervising technicians, training, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with policies and laws. Fluency in English and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifikationen

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English."
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation, counting and verification.
• Complete patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with vaccines, health screenings, and other services allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to ensure efficient workflow within policy guidelines.
• Maintain records, reports, and audits per company and government requirements.
