Job summary

Cencora is seeking an onsite Pharmacy Manager for Reading, PA to oversee operations at Reading Hospital Exeter Pharmacy within Boscov’s. The role entails managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering safe, efficient medication services seven days a week.

Required are a PharmD degree, PA pharmacist license with injectables, and strong leadership and communication skills to lead a high-volume outpatient setting. Prior experience in community hospital pharmacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist license and injectables license required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff performance cycle including hiring, evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee procurement, dispensing, and verification of outpatient medications.
• Consult with patients on medications, dosing, and interactions.
• Collaborate with hospital and pharmacy teams to optimize patient care and operations.
• Maintain records, quality assurance, and controlled substances security.
• Support operational improvements through staff guidance.
